Typical DS responses on here, tbf some of the people on here just complain about anything. Sad really
To be fair just because a person is not fawning over the happy couple does not mean they are complaining. They are entitled to an opinion and for a lot of people they wont give a rats ass that two people are having a baby. I would imagine if you are struggling to make ends meet or have your own challenges personally news that a complete stranger has become pregnant will make very little difference to your life.
I'm not a Royal fan by any means but they seem a nice enough couple, so congratulations to them.
Personally I think they should present the baby to the media outside the hospital like Rafiki did to Simba at the start of The Lion King, complete with Circle Of Life soundtrack

Yeah totally makes sense rather just moan about people being happy about someone being pregnant?
But who will the baby look like? William, Harry, Charles, Diana. . .*gulp* Hewitt?
And will it be a big eared ginger?
Very happy for them though. They seem a nice couple. I'm sure granny will be ecstatic. Another new born to sacrifice on her devil worshipping altar. . .Sorry, just channelled by inner Icke there for a moment.
Congratulations, and hopefully the pregnancy will go well! Sad to hear, that her morning sickness is severe.
A friend of mine was hospitalised for the same thing - this is no ordinary morning sickness, my friend was being sick 40 times a day into a bucket by the bed (sorry to be gross, but it can be that bad!). The concern is that dehydration can damage the baby, as well as the mother. It's not something that can be ignored, whoever you are.
Congatulations but I hope this doesn't dominate the news for the next 9 months. I'm sure it will though.
I'm sure it will dominate, but if it does that will be solely the fault of the media, not the Duchess - and yet you can bet your life she'll be held personally responsible for it!
im really happy to hear they have a baby on the way. I think they'll be great parents.
i just hope the pregnancy goes smoothy and nothing tragic happens since the palace said she is in the very early stages of pregnancy,
i think acute morning sickness is probably very common though?
Well it depends how severe, it could indicate early signs of miscarriage or that something is wrong with the baby. As you say it is very early days, you need to get past the three month stage before you're out of the initial woods. So say a prayer, say many.
sky news is aready discussing the fact if they have a girl first and then a boy next the boy will be the the future King. that should have been changed by now.
btw sky news just said the palace confirmed she hasnt hit 12 weeks yet.
i guess they only decided to announce it since she had to go and stay in hospital so it was bound to get out.
But don't you think it foolish, tempting fate? Olive would you announce a pregnancy if you weren't past the first tri mester, the stage when the majority of miscarriages occur? I know you're looking at best case scenarios and hoping for the best, but i can tell you're worried, all the reassurances in the world can't hide that.

i do, because if anything bad happens, god forbid, everyone knows and it isnt private, but i think they just decided they couldnt keep a lid on it anymore maybe.

She's probably over the first trimester & they kept it secret until the time was right. I'm sure they ordered a media blackout.

Oh God.
The names Frances and John are the favourites for the name of the Duke and Duchess's first child. The top five girls names are:
Frances - 9/1
Victoria - 10/1
Anne - 12/1
Diana - 12/1
Mary - 14/1
The top five boys names are:
John - 9/1
Charles - 10/1
George - 10/1
Phillip - 12/1
Richard - 12/1
If Denise Welch and her IVF quest is considered news, surely this is acceptably newsworthy too?!
As non sequiturs go that was pretty abstract. Or what, you think Kate had IVF?
