Wagner's departure is actually going to backfire on Simon Cowell.

Nobody really cares about Mary. Let's face it, we all know she won't win.

The show without Wagner is now of less interest to many people, so less publicity, fewer viewers, fewer callers.

Wagner staying would have increased the controversy, resulting in more publicity, more viewers, more callers.

I really like Louis so this isn't meant as a knock to the man, but those saying how professional he was making a decision etc...he was never going to send Scary Mary home. Two words, 'West...Life'.

The judges sent Wagner home Simon, not the public. Ending his "Best Bits" on "I dont belong here" was a bit low :(

Almost as if it had been planned :mad:

Even when the poor bugger is voted off, the 'judges' still can't help the snide comments.

Wagner is better than the X-Factor

He certainly has more class than any of them sitting on the judges panel.

    The joke act is gone.

Just a shame wagner had to go too.

    :D:D

It took a double elimination to get rid of him.

If it was just bottom 2 it would have probably been Katie v Mary and they'd have saved the Weasel.

The sacrifice of Wagner at least made sure we got rid of the weasel.

Cher's the new hate act then. I bet she's the one act who wishes that Wagner was still there.

The hatred for her determined that even her decent performances were not give any credit

She sang well last week. One of the few contestants who did, and she was 'safe'.

Other than that, she's been out of tune, she's forgotten her words, she's been off key. She's been painful to watch and listen to.

I actually liked her first audition. Then she messed up (at said audition), and messed up again (at bootcamp) and then again (at JH). She also messed it up in 1 or 2 of the live shows. How many other contestants have got away with that much? Ever?

"Bck in the hands of the public" Simon? The public voted for him!
Mean asking Louis to go first IMO!

Yes, and what did Simon mean when he said" back in the public hands"?
