Old cartoon ?.

Does anyone know this old cartoon show in early 90's.

It was based in a subway underground and it had this rat in it.And they use to have glasses and they would go in this trains underground.And I think it came on CITV back in the early 90 around 1990-1992 I think.

was it tube mice? They lived in the london underground and were a bit like wombles (i think) as in they recycled things
