How do you think it would have panned out in the house knowing so early on that the 150k had gone?
Or would BB not have told the other HMs?

I think they would have said the prize fund has to be earned back now by completing tasks.

Of course they would, no way would they let the show continue with no prize money

Were they not watching on the screen?

I thought they were all watching it on the screen?

The latest generation of HMs are too savvy & they would have known deep down that they would have got the prize money back somehow.

It's similar to win the HMs try to win the right to hear their letters from home; they all know that those that didn't win the right will still eventually get to read or hear the letters.

BB really messed that car timebomb up.

If they had reduced the prize fund by £27,000 permanently, that would have been a much better twist & much more believable.

it would mean he would have been £34,000 better off over this last year

The prize fund would have returned within a few days and we would have been without Jack for the rest of the series. I was hoping he would take the car.

    The car was £28,000.

    Edit: £27,000, not £28,000.

He was never going to take the car. He'd just been voted 'The Winner of BB 2015', why would he give up a very good shot at £150k for a measly 27k?

OK he hasn't got the 150 in the bank, but he's been handed a massive advantage. His eyes are on the bigger prize.

The prize fund has been taken away before you know?

I can't remeber which series, or how, but it has happened before. However the prize fund was reinstated again later on.

£27,000 would have been his. He may leave with nothing now. I think he'll regret it (if he's not regretting it already)

They've never taken all of it, its been reduced and messed around with loads of time but that was the first time a hm was given a straight choice which would have reduced it to NIL (allegedly)

It would, but maybe the BB experience was more important to him than the money. It's his only opportunity right now, and cars are easily come by. If you can't drive you're probably not that bothered anyway.

I can't remember that ever happening. The sewer rat Mcintyre took half of the prize fund when he was on the show.

Can't disagree with you. From his point of view he did the right thing if he's after the 'experience'. From my point of view I wish he'd taken the car and was gone. :)

It's been said that he blew that at a casino. If true, he wasn't better off for long.

Yeah, he's certainly not my favourite. I struggle to understand why he is in there at all. Other than the daft nickname he's got nothing.:D

I'm hoping he doesn't win. What a waste of money it'll be, a gambling addict winning £150,000. Nothing against him, but I hope he gets nominated and gets evicted.

I doubt if anyone would have taken the car - if, the remaining HM's were to be deprived of a prize fund.

Too much stigma/ shame attached. Or, am I living in cloud cuckoo land :D

I had forgotten he was a gambler. In which case he would have probably sold the BMW immediately. I agree with you about the nom and eviction as well.
