But why does she feel the need to sing a song that has rapping in it EVERY WEEK bar one!!!!???

Because that's what the producers tell her to do and that's clearly the direction she wants to go in post X Factor. In fact she's the only contestant that you can see a clear motive of what they want to sell in the future with her song choices.

Anyway, B A Robertson does the best version of bang bang, after all it's his song :D

Well looking at the run through cos I missed most of it looks like OTY were the best.

Jay and Ben were too shouty. The Octogroup ruined my favourite ever song. Andrea was not a patch on Fantasia when she sang that in AI. Lauren was Ok, Stevi was the worst hes been and Fleur was average at best.

So transparent that they want Fleur to win. I was underwhelmed again by her vocal tonight and I also didnt like the arrangement of that song.

It has something to do with the Band Aid record being promoted tomorrow night on Xfactor I think

It is in the original people! https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=0HDdjwpPM3Y#t=148

Plus Nicki's section is the best bit imo. :p

Can't wait for her performance of Baby Got Back in opera week.

So how come Ben couldn't just do a rock song with a few trumpets to bigbandify it?

He should of sang November Rain by Guns N' Roses. They performed it with a orchestra

If you take a heap of crap that has rap in it and you want to make it big band, then you remove the offending rap and make it a pleasurable song, they did not, they turned whatever that was into a shouty filthy mess.

You're entitled to that opinion, but I personally enjoyed it given all the other dross I had to sit through, although I prefer the original as big band week isn't to my taste.

It seems it's one rule for fleur and another for the rest of the acts!!!

I can't stand Jay but at least he sang a big band song!!

Can't wait to see her rap through an abba week and disco week **rollseyes**

What an awful show tonight. All of the acts were dreadful. None of their voices fitted the big band theme.

That's a point, as I read here last week that he would be on this week, and I was so looking forward to hearing him again. :( I get Olly instead! duh!

Not surprising after that performance Flair who had reached second favourite during the show has now dropped back to third favourite.

    1. Andrea Faustini
    2. Lauren Platt
    3. Fleur East
    4. Ben Haenow
    5. Only The Young
    6. Stereo Kicks
    7. Jay James
    8. Stevi Ritchie
I'd move Lauren to second last, the rest I agree with. :)
My ears don't agree but that's my PERSONAL opinion!
Fair enough but you did ask the question, that's why there's quite a few posts giving you an answer.
