Advice needed for a decent 20" LCD!

Hi there

It's doing my head in trying to choose a decent 20" LCD TV with the option of connection to my PC (which will be sited next to the TV's position.)

It's only a very narrow room (integral garage conversion) - hence the 20" screen size, but I thought I'd like the PC connection option to enable playing of Divx films etc off the PC onto the TV.

I found some good reviews on a Beko model but though it's supposed to have a PC input, the cheapest price I've got for it says it is NOT a PC monitor!! (see here http://www.microdirect.co.uk/ProductInfo.aspx?ProductID=9304&&source=Dealtime )

Any ideas or suggestions on what they mean by that?

Many thanks if you can help out :)

I would assume it's primary purpose is as a television and would have refresh rates to match and lacking the ability to have it's scan rates changed from a PC as a dedicated monitor would have.

So perhaps you would just have to make sure when feeding it via the PC input (VGA I assume) you match what the panel is capable of and not what is optimal for the PC.
