    That's such a weird title. Hadaka no Jukyu-sai = A Naked 19-Year-Old. Maybe it's as in, 'A 19-Year-Old Bares it All' or 'A 19-Year-Old, Warts and All'?

    Edit:
Ooh, I'll have to check it it out as I've just read that it's loosely based on the life of Norio Nagayama, a 19-year-old spree killer and the first minor to be given a death sentence.

    R.I.P.D. (LINK)

I liked it. This film got some really bad reviews and was in and out of theaters faster than you can count to 5. No one that I know of has seen it. But I finally had a chance to watch it, not expecting much at all, and enjoyed it. On the plus side: nice visuals and Jeff Bridges is great in it. And there's an interesting story too. Downside: it's very short and you can tell that a lot of the film was left on the cutting room floor during editing. It's clear that R.I.P.D. was originally a much larger film. I don't know the full story but Jeff Bridges is on record saying the movie he filmed and the movie that was released are completely different - something he wasn't happy about. But until someone makes a proper R.I.P.D. film, this one isn't bad at all.

    I agree with this.

Whilst I would never proclaim that RIPD is a great film, it's certainly nowhere near as bad as the reviews I've seen.

It's a lightweight but enjoyable film with a pretty decent cast too.

Just watched Hitchcock's Rope this afternoon. Can't help it - watched it a dozen times already but its one of my favourite Hitchcock films.

Manhunter - Far too procedural IMO. And though he only had limited screen time, Brian Cox still made a bland Hannibal Lecktor.

    Gravity in 3D

What a rollercoaster ride. Unlike anything I've seen before. Made me want to get a bigger TV.

The private lives of elizabeth and essex - Not bad. Love bette davis
The deep end - Great thriller with Tilda swinton. Clunky script though
The deep blue sea - Boring.
The flower drum song - Boring. Forgettable songs and characters
Cabaret - Overrated and just confirmed why i have never been a fan of Lixa Minelli. She's just a copy cat of her mother.

    Watchmen Ultimate Cut.

Always liked the theatrical cut but the extra hour or so of extra footage in this version takes it to a new level entirely. Superb 9.5/10.

When Father Was Away On Business
    7/10

I thought I had watched it for 3 hours...some scenes just never ended. I didn't find the father likeable at all.
