She looks lovely. I don't really think she's going nuts trying to "grab attention" or anything. She's got a new gig on a new channel and she posted a picture on twitter. I don't think she's gone OTT with that picture at all and it's not like she's had a ridiculous glamorous make over for it like the mail has made out... she's wearing a jumper and jeans with nicely done hair and make up. Looks fabulous but it's not like she suddenly looks like Jordan.
No need to make excuses, just because you like her.
It's hardly "a selfie," is it?
It's obvious a lot of work has gone on, to produce that photo.
ITV pay a fortune to presenters and Celebrities, without ploughing money into developing the writers and production staff.
Probably most powerful non-staffer at the BBC is Stephen Moffatt, writing and producing Dr Who and Sherlock.
Most powerful non staffer at ITV is Simon Cowell.
There is something in that. But the discussion here seems to be is confusing promotion of TV faces with attempts to attribute mindset of said faces via published images. I did it myself, I admit that.

Typical TV executive thinking.

It's just like any other posed professional photo.
Exactly what I said. It ain't as if it "just turned out that way," is it?
