Hello and Welcome to the sixth round of Dancefloor
Last time out we lost Jas and Katya, so we have 6 couples who are waiting to tackle either the Foxtrot or the Salsa.They will be marked by our judges, and then the lines will open for voting and will remain open overnight and close at 7pm on Wednesday.
Let's get the competition underway and opening with a foxtrot to Please don't say you love me by Gabrielle Aplin please welcome to the floor Topaz and Matthew

Comment Val -A nice modern song choice which fitted the elegance of the dance well.

Comment Val - I don't understand this choice really. I like S Club [oops, did I just admit that] but for the Salsa, I just don't get it.

Comment Mitch - Well, It wasn't awful, but it wasn't incredible I think you have a lot of work still to do, but a good dance, just not good enough for the standard of competition we have on the show.

Comment Niall - This was an interesting take on a Foxtrot, not sure it completely worked though...

Comment Niall - This worked pretty well I guess, but I was hoping for something a bit more exciting for higher marks!

Wow how tight is that. Amy and Brendan occupy top spot with the judges though, but now it is time for you to have your say as

The lines will remain open overnight and will close tomorrow at 7pm when I will return to reveal which five couples have made it through to the quarter finals.
Please PM me your votes. It is 6 for your favourite through to 1 for your least favourite.
Those who do make it through will return on Tuesday next week with the double challenge of ballroom and latin - the draw of who has what will be made tomorrow.

Soon six will become five as we find out our quarter finalists and which couple bid the competition a sad farwell tonight. In no particular order the first couple through to the quarteer finals are...

Which leaves us with Connor and Ola and Stuart and Kristina.
One of you has received the fewest amount of public votes, the other is here as a random selection.
I can now reveal that the couple leaving dancefloor tonight is.....
Stuart and Kristina I am so sorry but you are out of dancefloor, Connor and Ola you are safe and we will see you in the quarter finals.
Stuart and Kristina I am so sorry to see you go - you have been fantastic competitiors and all I can say is that I hope you have enjoyed taking part. I am sorry to see you go.

So Stuart ans Kristina leave the competition tonight but standby for the draw as to who is doing what in the quarter finals. It is the double trouble of ballroom and latin.
