I hate Roy... Such an odd person

You hate someone purely because they're different?

My Aunty Annie lived in St. Anne's-on-Sea. She had the same shopping basket her mother used on the day Queen Victoria died in 1901. "And she was so shocked, she dropped it and all the mushies rolled out."

That's all she ever said :o

    'Mushies'?

Sally's an absolute mug for staying with Faye's dad. It's so obvious that he's just using her for 'fun'. I never thought Sally was this bloody soft.

So you hate him for being different. Some people just are awkward, they can't help it.

It was really annoying me as I couldn't remember if we actually got to see Haleys son on tv, so I googled him. Actor
Andrew Turner played Christian Gately, as soon as you see him you remember him.

A really strong episode tonight. Was it just me or did it feel like there were hardly any characters in tonight's episode? I really like the episodes which just focus on a select few characters.

The Hayley/Roy and Fiz scenes tonight were superb, which is no surprise. Flawless performances from all. I really liked Fiz's role in helping Roy come round to the idea of Hayley meeting her son again, even though his instinct is to overprotect her.

Anyone think Fiz and Tyrone will become the new Jack and Vera? :) I loved Tyrone talking about Jack, and Fiz reflecting on how good Roy and Hayley have been to her when she was growing up.

I love Sally trying to act all 'casual' .. she just can't do it, can she, no matter how hard she tries :D

Fiz could never, imo, be a new Vera - she must take acting lessons first....

    Hi Everyone.

No time to read all of your pithy comments which always inspires me to watch the show because I had to work today.

Thanks Ags for your thread. I'll be watching your clips tomorrow morning; they're always hilarious.

    My take for tonight follow:

*Cancer is a lonely illness. Even though my mother suffered the same as Haley, w/ a wide support circle, it was still her journey that she had to take alone.

*Fizz is a kind, supportive friend. Never once had she shown pity to Haley, just love & understanding.

*Shame on Roy, at first blush, but he did seem to come around. Yes!

*Loved the Jack & Vera references. I think they'd be happy that their Tyronne has landed w/ Fizz. Not everyone in the world has a high IQ, so come on & just let those two be happy together Corrie fans. And she is certainly an improvement over that wackadoodle Kirsty!

Personally, howled w/ the over-order of rice in Dev's shop. It's rice; it's like buying nails, no expiration date really. Bought 50 lbs of it myself a few yrs ago, asked husband to bring it in & he said, "World Food Hunger Program w/ a delivery". Paid $9.99 & played Santa Claus w/ everyone in my life w/ heaps of rice. That scene had me in giggles.

Sally & Paris. Oh...dear...me. And Tim was thinking Blackpool. Gotta love it.

That's all for now. Take care everyone!
