Too much bickering between the judges?

It seems at every single opportunity Simon is at Louis - something or other.

They are constantly just at each other, I don't mind it a little bit but there's wayyyyyy too much of it this year.

i wish X Factor had a professional judging panel like it is on Strictly. I mean what's the point of making them 'mentors' as it's the team behind the scenes that do all the work . The 'mentor' slant just ensures that the show is all about the judges and not the contestants. I mean they're not 'judges' at all really, they're just out to build their own careers through the show . Cheryl uses it every year just to promote a new single which she brings out during the show. Her singing's crap and she wouldn't be where she is if she didn't have Cowell's backing on X factor.

Cheryl doesn't even think twice about leaving the people she's supposed to be mentoring to jet off to the states to sign up a new record deal. She reminds me of a parasite which needs to feed off a 'host' as she doesn't have the talent in her own right to be successful.

The pantomime bickering has been overplayed, and has come to dominate the show and related headlines, it also undermines the show's credibility, and with 4 judges (and talk of 5?) eats into the air time the contestants have, forcing them to sing edits.

I'd sooner remove the judges from the live shows, and only have them mentor behind the scenes and appear on Results Night stood on stage with their acts, and on the Xtra Factor. All of them have suffered enormously from overexposure (and not just Simon and Cheryl's tans). Whereas once they made the X Factor now they are slowly suffocating it.

My problem this year is it's getting too heated and bitchy, in previous years it's just been banter, but this year its ridiculous! And I'd lay the blame in Simons lap, fair enough if Cheryl gets annoyed when Louis criticises her acts but don't see why Simon has to swoop in to her rescue, I don't doubt for one second that Cheryl isn't able to speak for herself.
If I was Louis I would've walked out after that "you'll be escorted off the premises" line at the weekend. It was completely uncalled for.
