Cant believe it ,my local is celebrating DDWD's funeral with a 3 hour happy hour and having party hats, streamers ,food and loads of DDWD music. ( Billy Bragg and Christy Moore)

The biggest dilemna for the Owner is to have the telly on or off , I think it should be on mute so we can cheer and celebrate her passing.

Got me thinking what other ways are their to celebrate

You should all toast the Great Lady's life and all the good things she did for this country, as I and my co-workers shall be doing.

Just heard that Mark's a bit upset. He wanted to drive the hearse to the crematorium but organisers won't let him, said it really needed to arrive that day.

He probably is but knows the local feeling and that a party to celebrate the fact she's dead will make more money than a so called respectful viewing of it any Tory should admire his business like mind

Hopefully your local is in a Labour Controlled area.

Otherwise, if folks complain (and they no doubt will) your licensee could find him/herself called before the Board.

If Thatcher wanted respect in death, she should have shown it to others in life.

Is anyone saying you can't speak freely?

I don't care if people loved or loathed thatcher.

The sight of so many alleged adults getting their jollies at her death , is my issue with it.

It's juvenile and adds to the concept that the UK is peopled by a rabble.
