Only to remember that many legal iTunes downloads may not play in songbird itself (due to fairplay based DRM) but may sync with your iPod fine. Make sure you search the Songbird add-ons (via Tools-Add ons) to enable iPod device support. Otherwise Songbird is a good music management alternative.
I liked the feel of songbird when I tried it a few weeks back but it was just really clumbersome and slow. It needs to be refined a lot more to make it a reliable day to day replacement music player - at least for me.
I did try songbird very briefly a while back, but quickly stopped using it the moment I realized it doesn't respond to the Apple remote, which for me is a very handy thing to have. Unless thats changed now of course?
