Watching this at the moment. It's poor. Walliams is a talent but maybe he needs to go away and write a sitcom. The sketches are tired.

Far better than I expected it to be. Perhaps it's the delicious Morgana....

I thought it was utter rubbish until the auto correct sketch came on. I did enjoy that sketch but the rest of it was boring.

me too. Suddenly a 1978 Christmas TOTP on BBC 4 seemed very attractive.

If you lot could stop being so pompous and sit and watch a show all the way through instead of running to your mobiles to boast about how short your attention spans are, you'd have seen a clever, often inspired old school sketch show. The party scene with the man who created autocorrect was pure Two Ronnies! Selfie Man was a great recurring character too. More, please.

It wasn't hilarious but funny in parts.

I really enjoyed it. VERY Two Ronnies (esp the opening news sketch and the autocorrect one) but everyone has influences I suppose!

    Yeah, good light entertainment.

Um, I posted after it finished. :)

The auto correct was good. About the only really funny sketch though.

Absolutely unfunny in every respect, how the BBC can serve this up as Xmas Eve entertainment.

I really can't see who you could post that.

At least the BBC tried tonight, the comedy singing for Abba on ITV was dire.

So even the Great British bakeoff sketch didn't once make you laugh?

Without jumping to conclusions, if you dont watch bakeoff it would potentially lessen the appreciation of that sketch.

Well I quite liked this. Joanna Lumley was a revelation. Showed she could be versatile. I also liked the BBC product placement and autocorrect sketches.

It did a bit. It was one of the better ones. The tanning was awful as was the TV newsreader sketch.

It shouldn't have been a revelation that she's got chops.

Some of the sketches overstayed their welcome and lost their bite, needed some tightening up.
Bakeoff sketch, I had to mute it, that was just ewwww, I don't even watch Bake off.

Excruciatingly poor imo. Some things of his I like but this was just unfunny and tedious.
