In The Shawshank Redemption, why didnt Andy Dufresne's escape tunnel emerge into the next-door cell after a few inches? Was his cell a couple of feet longer than everyone else's along the row?
Regarding the end credits of films:
What does a "Key Grip" do?
What does a "Gaffer" do?
What does a "Best Boy" do? Can a girl do the job? If so, is her title "Best Girl"?
Why is it that you'll see a shot of a room of people all talking away and you cannot hear a thing, but suddenly when the star comes into shot you can magically hear every word they say, even though all the others are still yammering and nothing?
How are people able to wash their teeth and still talk fairly clearly with a mouthful of toothpaste?
the one that bugs me is shaving , some bloke is always in the middle of shaving with a load of foam around his face , he'll get interrupted and start wiping it off with a towel ! who does that ?? and often it's just 'cos the phone has rang .
Why in films with modern cars do they still pretend you can just pull all the wires out and jump start the car. And don't get me started about the steering lock.
This is common in the US, since their power wattage isn't high enough to support the use of kettles. So in this respect, the films/shows are simply reflecting life and not just for dramatic licence.
Why Daniel LaRusso never bothered to just call the police and report that he had been repeatedly assaulted violently with many injuries and witnesses to prove it

That's a good point but they're rarely seen in UK movies either.

No but if you actually used your eyes to WATCH the film, you might have noticed (as did everyone else) that Andy had the LAST CELL in the row, next to the wall.Which he dug through to access the service tunnels and sewer.Simples!
Whenever a car is about to be hit directly side on by a truck (usually) or another car, it's blatantly obvious by the way the camera is suddenly positioned to see both the actor speaking and the oncoming vehicle through the side window. You hardly ever get a view from the front or elsewhere.

Really? Wow, did not know that.
Is that why they all seem to have coffee machines? (or maybe they just don't like instant coffee! )

Why do the characters INSIST on going deep inside a dark place (a forest, or a house) instead of getting out of there asap?

And aren't we all in films. For example, when people save the world, they mean saving us so aren't we in the film but we are just not seen in it?

What are they supposed to wear? Tissue boxes like Howard Hughes did?

( the police were shooting silver bullets right down the thin alley where she stood and all missed her lol)

Even if they hate the sight of each other at the start of the movie they'll be in each other's arms at the end.
Often with a crowd of people standing around applauding them as they snog.<roll credits>
