after listening to it .... it reminds me of ' the bee keeper' most with nods to' Scarlet' and 'Night of the Hunters'. There are some great songs .... fave so far are 'wild way'; 'wedding day', 'unrepentant geraldines' . i need to listen to it some more, especially as I am seeing her on Monday!

I adore wedding day, invisible boy, selkie, unrepentant geraldines, 16 shades of blue and oysters
And I am fascinated by America.....

'giant rolling pin' is a classic Tori kooky ditty too! To be filled next to programmable soda ...super!

Another great Tori show tonight in Birmingham. Here's the set list.
    1. Parasol
    2. Honey
    3. Tear in Your Hand
    4. 1000 Oceans
    5. Mr. Zebra
    6. Icicle
    7. Wild Way
    8. Caught a Lite Sneeze

    LIZARD LOUNGE
    9. Running to Stand Still (U2 cover)
    10. Circle Game (Joni Mitchell)

    11. Winter
    12. Playboy Mommy
    13. Invisible Boy (tour debut)
    14. Take to the Sky
    15. In the Springtime of His Voodoo

    16. Cornflake Girl
    17. Trouble's Lament (with backing track)
    18. Pretty Good Year

Playboy Mommy is another one of all time favourites! The album is released now but she still is going quite light on the new material only 3 songs. But I think that is smart because she has so many classic songs.

For selfish reasons, In a way I'm glad she's going light on the new album because I've not had a chance to hear it. Seeing her in Nottingham tomorrow - can't wait. I hope she plays Purple People.

She was brilliant. Great balanced set list. Playboy Mommy worked brilliantly with the reference to friends from Birmingham. A Backing track was used for cornflake girl too. It was lovely to see her and her piano. Her covers were exquisite.

I loved Little Earthquakes and Under The Pink, but Tori Amos sort of fell off my radar after that.

I got the new album today, and on first listen it's really good. Must check out some of her other stuff.

Listening to the album now - I really love the title track - especially that solo piano. The rest will take longer for me to come up with solid opinions but I will listen to this album often. :)

Notts and birmingham set lists were perfect! Although so surprised that only 1 song from UG was performed at Notts...and it was the deluxe edition extra track 'forest of glass'?

I have managed to get all 3 additional tracks:
white telephone to god (iTunes exclusive) ..... reminds me of a british version of 'cynthia stout'

dixie (amazon exclusive) ....similarly as touching as 'Invisible Boy'

forest of glass (deluxe edition track) ....... similar vein to 'selkie'

how lucky are fans - what a fantastic standard of additional tracks!

Hey guys! Sorry I'm late posting, I went to the Manchester show on Sunday. I met the lady herself earlier that day and she was so lovely! She did a signing, photos and a bit of a chat, she asked me about college and my future ambitions, so lovely... I was rather quiet I admit as I was rather in awe of her!! I went with Madonna38 who some of you may remember, when we were leaving Tori said "goodbye kids!" Haha!

The show itself was so beautiful to say the least, Silent All These Years was one of my favourites of the night but the crown must go to Raspberry Swirl! My favourite, so so glad she did it! Luckily I only missed the last song

Got to say I was expecting a little more from the latest album given the name of the tour, was at the RAH and only counted two. Not even the titular track, or sadly for me one of my new favourites Weatherman. I guess with it only just being out she felt fans might not be familiar enough with the new material.

Was great to hear something From the Choirgirl Hotel but looking at the set lists above would have loved to hear Northern Lad or Playboy Mommy. Quite a few tracks from Scarlet's Walk and Little Earthquakes. Still waiting to hear I can't see New York live.

A great show overall, only wish it had gone on longer, and a spectacular venue. I was up in the gods and my only complaint was the seats were a little tight for room for someone of my height (6ft 3"). Went and checked out the boxes after the show, much more comfortable. Does anyone know how much they were going for?

    4. Northern Lad
    5. Apollo Frock
    6. Weatherman
    7. Leather
    8. Mother

    Lizard Lounge
    9. Boys In The Trees (Carly Simon cover)
    10. Tiny Dancer
    11. Horses
    12. A Sorta Fairytale
    13. Honey
    14. Virginia

    Encore
    17. Mr. Zebra
    18. Raspberry Swirl
    19. 16 Shades Of Blue
    20. Lady In Blue

If you're bored, it's quite fun to follow the set list and listen to the songs on youtube!

Maybe I'm a bad fan, but I never listened to Apollo's Frock before.

I suppose I must buy White Telephone..but I'm not happy about it! Where did songs like Weatherman and Oysters come from? It's like Tori is channelling her 90's self again. Amazing.
