Ive just bought a Vita and was doing some checkup online and said this is a premium service.

Now I know with xbox you had a silver service which lets you buy stuff but gold you get demos first and can play online.

But whats the difference between normal PS and PS Plus?

I saw a trial 30 days thing when I bought it but clicked on the button accidentally and didnt get a chance to see what it was about.

Ps plus on ps3 and vita is simply a game rental sort of thing. Every month they give you a couple of full games and so long as you stay subscribed you can play them.this collection continually grows as you dont lose the previous games.

Next gen ps4 you actually need ps+ to play online barring a few exceptions.

It also gives you cloud space for your saves. Automatic updates if you leave it in standby and there are always discounts on PSN games.
