Need suggestions!
What did you have, if you had one, or what would you love to have if you ever got married?
Is Sweet Dreams by Eurythmics a good choice do you think?

Was just trying to start a discussion and I'd love to hear other people's stories of their first dances... is that OK?
I think we can be forgiven for giving the responses we did.
seems the key phrase I'm afraid.
Anyway, Agadoo is a personal favourite
I was thinking Saturday Night by Whigfield - then everybody can join in if they want.
Haha yes or the Macarena. That might surprise everyone
I guess it's all down to personal taste. I would go for something like -
The Way You Look Tonight
Endless Love
Rule the World
Chasing Cars
Come What May
Everything I do
Wonderful Tonight
Then again - I'm no young thing and unlike to remarry - what do I know?
I'd requested payment at the start of the night thankfully.
Dear me!:D But then I suppose you can't really open proceedings at a wedding with 'Stairway to Heaven':p
The Smiths always fill the dancefloor.
Oh I love that song.
OP just choose something you and your OH both like. I know that's easier said than done though - I'm struggling to think of any songs I'd have myself.
"If I Had a Gun" - Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds
Its a beautiful song .
I'd have to go outside for that. The thought alone makes me cringe.
Me and the OH had a first dance at our engagement party, at the DJ's demand, and chose 'Only You' by the Flying Pickets. I've always thought I'd like 'Love You Til The End' by The Pogues at our wedding but its a bit long... I don't know if I'd want everyone looking at me for that amount of time when I could have picked something shorter
I would like Just The Way You Are but OH hates it.
Our favourite song together is Sweet Dreams - travelling the world is apt, but the use and abuse stuff probably isn't! It's hard work!
Is I've Had The Time Of My Life too cliché do you reckon?
Yeah, that's more a funeral song.
...we've only been married 2 1/2 years:eek::o
In my defense I found the whole thing horrible, I hate being the center of attention and my husband dragged me onto the floor even though he knew I didn't want to do the whole first dance thing:(
