    Love that song.Although the actual name isn't mentioned.

    It's one of my all-time favourite songs. Probably my favourite actually. I've never understood the name though, I thought they just chose it because it sounded pretty. :D

    I seriously thought the song was fairly new,I was shocked when I found out it was made in 1998 for City Of Angels with Nic Cage and Meg Ryan.Anyway,apparently the vocalist John Rzemick was going to quit the band because he'd had writer's block for ages and then he was approached to write a song for City Of Angels.According to wikipedia he named it Iris as a tribute to American singer/songwriter Iris Dement.It's brilliant IMO.
