Died in 2010 but I could of sworn I saw him make a live guest appearance on something just a couple of years back!

My point was that Norman Wisdom gave up America - just as he was getting huge recognition - to come back to Britain and take care of his children.

Obviously he took on work in the UK - but there have probably been similar cases with UK actors / stars who gave up their career to look after their kids (Rick Moranis is another US case)

Sinitta (but then was she ever really famous ?)

Her "friendship" with Simon Cowell causes her to pop-up in the gossip columns every so often, usually every summer when she holidays with him on his yacht

Cory Feldman was in Lost Boys - The Tribe last year and if stories are confirmed they will be doing a 3rd film based around the Frog brothers to be released straight to DVD in the next 18 months

Ah I see, thanks for that :)

One name I have just thought of recently is Ron Lucas the ventriloquist. He was everywhere in the early 90s, most talk shows, Royal Variety, Childrens tv and of course his own show. Main puppet was Scorch the dragon but he also had others such as Tilly the troll.

Last I heard, he had quite a lucrative residency at one of the Vegas hotel/casinos. I think it was Harrah's.

It's the Excalibur, one of the lesser hotels towards the end of the strip and he does a afternoon show so not exactly in the Cirque du Soleil but it's much better than nothing

/* Edit though the link to buy tickets goes nowhere so I guess that residency may be over

Hopefully in about a year, we can add Bozo The Ex Mayor to this list, aka De Pfeffel Johnson!

She takes after her father who is that loudmouth piss artist Keith, her brother Alfie is another talent free charmless loudmouth, wish that family were ordered to undertake a vow of silence and become hermits.

Were you being tongue-in-cheek, or are you genuinely not near a radio on weekday afternoons?

I thought Radio X was broken? I tuned in yesterday afternoon and actually heard them playing music?!?!?! I thought it was just a Chris Moyles / Johhny Vaughan talk show station!

He's fantastic in Game of Thrones, the way he's dealt with Theon's character development been amazing.
