Weren't MD going to do dreams last week ??
Abi - nice song, I can see her going all Audrey Hepburn on us (will she play guitar instead?)
Rough Copy - boyband karaoke hell
I can picture her playing guitar.
I'm also not happy with Listen for Tamera. Predictable choice also. She should try singing something softer to show off more parts of her voice. Still I'm sure she'll do well, but come on, how many times have we heard Listen on these shows?
Looking forward for Hannah to slay though. I think Sam C will do well too.Curious to see if Ms Dynamix will do well too. It's either a go home week for them or the start of a rise to the top.
Tamera could get the Alex comparison which won't bode well.
Crap choice for a 16 year old boy.
Not sure Hannah being compared to Adele is necessarily a good idea either.
Tamera shouldn't sing Beyonce, she doesn't have enough control!
He's either going to be amazing or end up in bottom 2
Hannah has to be careful not to over sing again this week. She could have her moment if she just keeps the song simple and shows restraint but this is certainly a big risk. Not a fan but I am curious to see how this goes down.
Yeah it was used pretty heavily in the 1999 film Magnolia
Features in the 1999 movie 'Magnolia' apparently.
Hannah Barrett – Skyfall-Think she will perform it really well but I don't think it will be particularly memorable
Kingsland Road – Oh, Pretty Woman-Great choice, really suits them but i doubt it will get rid of the cheesy/cringey tags.
Luke Friend – Kiss From A Rose-Think he will do really well with this, again great choice.
Miss Dynamix – Dreams-Said last week that I think they will do really well with this, it will be like their jh all saints performance which I loved but I am not sure if people will vote for them as I doubt it will be a memorable stand out performance.
Nicholas McDonald – In The Arms Of An Angel- unsure, its a tough song to sing, he could easily mess up badly, but if he pulls it off could be his 'moment' like first time for matt and consolidate his fanbase.
Rough Copy – Everything I Do- dont know, seems boring.
Sam Bailey – My Heart Will Go On- Oh God what is sharon doing, sam could sing this in her sleep but it is inevitably going to put her in the chris maloney bracket.
Sam Callahan – All I Want Is You- if it is the song from juno, it will be decent but boring. If it is the U2 song, it will either be terrible, car crash tv or performance of the night. I actually think his voice suits it but he may not be able to convey the meaning of the song effectively.
Tamera Foster – Listen- I doubt she will be able to pull this off as good as Alex or Jahmene or even Sam B but still expect her to get a standing ovation and over the top comments from the judges which are undeserved. (I voted for tamera last week and have defended her on here, I am not a detractor.)
Luke could be amazing this week.
Hannah could be interesting.
Sam B... Oh God. I think I might have jokingly said "As long as they don't give her something as predictable as My Heart Will Go On she should be fine" Typical.
Pretty apathetic towards the rest. I will they'd vary the song list to something more interesting once in a while.
my heart will go on
everything I do
all I want is you
wouldn't have picked moon river for abi or in the arms of an angel for Nicholas
