Concerts, parties, holidays or just relaxing?

Very excited for summer this year- shall be going to the Wireless festival at Hyde Park in July to see Nicki Minaj and Drake and have also booked a holiday to Portugal!

Have a few parties & beach trips planned aswell, hoping to also reconnect with my old group of pals from secondary school who I haven't seen in a while...

What about you? :)

If OP is new, keep in mind DS member base is more mature than your typical Internet message board, which consists mainly of teenagers and uni students. So no summer plan for ya.

Adults can make plans, I intend to be booking holidays and making plans ( finances permitting) when I'm in my 20's and beyond... :)

Summer is a long way off in the southern hemisphere, but we're thinking of going to Easter Island.

I'd like some proper summer weather this year for a few day trips, pony trekking, etc. Would be nice.

I don't have anything planned just because it will be slightly less rainy unfortunately.

I have the Wireless, Springsteen, Queen, Madonna, Coldplay concerts and the BT Olympics closing ceremony concert with Blur, and have tickets for the tennis at Wimbledon, all lined up for the Summer.

I think that's enough to keep me going. :D

You could do some panning for gold while you are about it :p

Ooh that sounds nice. I've always fancied a caravan but my husband hates them with a fiery vengeance that borders on the obsessive since he was run off the road by one a few years ago.

Yep, I'm looking forward to the Summer for a change; I don't normally get up to much. I usually have this many concerts lined up throughout the year - 3 of them are all within one week! I'm going to Wireless on the Sunday.

Next year will be The Big Holiday :D

Normally, it has to be said, I moan about the British weather WHILST at Wimbledon thereby killing two birds with one stone :D

I usually go on the first Monday then again on Men's semi finals day :)

And probably drinking too much beer.

"The summer" is exactly the same as "the winter" for me except that work gets even busier, and I can usually wear sandals.
