Lauren is an overly competitive monster

Oh my goodness. Did you see how she screamed 'Yes!' through her teeth with a big fist pump? Lauren isn't some sweet little girl. Lauren is a machine programmed for victory. All the other contestants just did little relieved smiles and hugs and mini-yays.
Lauren is definitely the most amped competitor.

I honestly laughed out loud at how overdramatic that title was. Brilliant :D Thanks OP.

I don't know if this person means it in a good or bad way...but you are so overreacting...

I've never been fooled by her sweet little innocent act. They don't just learn to sing at stage school. They learn to act too. She's quite the little actress.

She is very stage school. You can see it with her style of singing and song choices.

She comes across a bit of a stage school brat to be honest

I find the love for her a bit odd. She's utterly unlikeable so far IMO.

I took it as she was glad to be through because she was worried about her performance last night because she wasn't as good as she normally is.

I've never got the impression that she's acting sweet and innocent, she's clearly confident and determined and isn't trying to hide that. It's not a bad thing though.

I found her laughing through her part in the group song very unprofessional.
    She's young though I guess

If Fleur East had acted that way , could you imagine the backlash she would get on this forum.

Her delight was unbecoming and not very ladylike!

Most people on this forum don't know the difference between confidence and cockiness.

I didn't notice her laughing? She did sound flat in her first bit though.

As always, some people on here read into things, and see things that are just not there, it was the same with Fleur, being confident isn't a bad thing.

How do you explain that flat out of tune Let It Go? She was bloody awful

Being 'nice' and being competitive aren't mutually exclusive though.

She may find some success in musicals after the show but she isn't a popstar
