He's one of the best. There's probably a handful of rappers that are all on the same sort of level with their ability and what they've achieved.

And if not, who is better? I've been listening to a lot of Eminem's earlier material (My Name Is, Real Slim Shady, Stan, Without Me and Lose Yourself) and I can't think of any better rap songs than those

Eminem has never been afraid to be controversial and ground breaking and that's why he stands out

Guilty Conscience has always been one of my favourites, from his early stuff. I've always thought it's a really clever song.

He's probably up there with the best, certainly. Lyrically, he does things you wouldn't think possible, and he is very good at injecting his dark sense of humour into his songs. Who else could make songs about murder, rape, child sex abuse, domestic violence etc etc and for them to be humorous? I say he's a very talented guy, and when he's on form, he's genius.

    Completely agree.

I like the early stuff, well I like it all to be honest

saw him at wembley last year :)

back in the day, tim westwood used to do a rap show on R1, you would get the likes of snoop dog rapping off cuff live on the radio which was brilliants and showed the skills rappers have you don't really see that in the mainstream because its all commercialised

No, not imo. Nas, Talib Kweli, The Roots rank above him. Em is simply more accessible to music fans who aren't always into hip hop.

I only really liked his first two albums which are masterpieces.
