I bought the record before I'd even got a record player.
Like several other FMs I bought a proper record player. Dansette, two-colour (mine was blue and cream), 33/45/78rpm, multi-stacking.
With optional legs.
I kinda went through phases of singles. I bought a couple around 1998/1999 and then didn't buy another CD until 2003. Then i started again about 2005.
