Actually can not tell if he's being serious or taking the mick
I actually feel a bit sorry for him.
I know the chorus of one of his songs and that's it, I doubt half the people who hate him know any more than that.
He should just retire and get help before it's too late
Too much too soon
bieber's attitude is just dreadful. while the questions may have not have been leading anywhere specific. his demeanour, his arrogance and his evasiveness, just came across like he was not taking the deposition seriously. sooner or later, he will provoke the wrong person and karma will catch up with him.
Actually, I wondered that - but then I realised that they are probably trying to judge whether those people might have information about the incident. If he was dating Selina at the time, then it might make sense for them to call her as a witness. Ditto, if he usually turned to Usher for advice on dealing with stuff, then they might call Usher.
Apparently, a deposition is an important stage of the process - if Bieber's team wanted to state that Selina couldn't possibly know anything about it and shouldn't be called as a witness, then they'd probably need to start making that clear at the deposition stage once the opposition team started down that route.
It sounds like a strange question, because it's probably designed to put him off balance (lawyer style approach) before they then ask what they really aim to ask. "So, was she around the night of the alleged incident?" "Did you talk to her about the incident?" etc.
Then calmly say that's of no relevance its was his sneering attitude and the fact he didn't have the intelligence to follow half of what was being said to him.
We also don't know all the details surrounding the case there could be very good reasons why Selena and Usher were mentioned that will become apparent later, the fact that Biebers lawyer lets him answer these questions suggest that they had every right to ask and had already outlined why they were being asked.
I agree he's surrounded by sycophants, his lawyer being one any decent lawyer would have convinced him to pull himself together and not be such a brat it was making everything worse.
You know, I thought for a moment that he meant 'detrimental' - because he now wants to take a very different musical approach and might feel stifled by his previous image/style. I'm still not a hundred percent sure that he didn't mean it.
His attitude was appalling and he had no respect at all for the people who were in the room. I think at the very least, if he thought the questions were inappropriate he could have handled the situation differently. He is a spoilt brat, has no respect for anyone, thinks the whole world should revolve around him and he desperately needs a reality check but I doubt he will get one as everyone is being paid to keep this cash cow going. So he will be given alcohol, cars, drugs, etc sent on tour etc. Sadly, it seems his family do not want to step-in and stop this car-crash of a life. Personally, after seeing the video I think he is a little thug!!
Exactly.!!
Well amazingly there are a few posters on here who are supporting him! Bizarre.
I don't think anyone on DS is supporting him!
He didn't mean it, as his attorney immediately repeated it but said instrumental instead of detrimental.
I think that was the point the inane questions were to show his general demeanour and if he has a temper. It is used as a character witness and he showed himself to be vain, cocky, petulant, argumentative and a sense of entitlement. This will all be used against him. The questions actually served their purpose as they showed his true character. It's the littler questions that show the biggest answers in that sense.
The actual case is to do with violence so he has just shown himself in the worst light during questioning especially the aggression towards the person transcribing. It shows he has a low threshold for simple verbal exchange leading to aggression.
Apologies if this has been posted before but it's a lawyer explaining depositions what Justin did wrong and what he should have done.

Bieber not knowing if he's ever been to Australia, or not knowing the difference between "detrimental" and "instrumental"
I got the impression he knew, but was just being a dick.
