I read on OK mag that Sam got 300k ... (terrific source, I know) and that she'd taken it to get over Joey. Whether it is true or not, no idea.

Wow! £300K seems way too high to me.....I always thought the fee was around £50-60K which is pretty low for semi-celebrities and has-beens but the money they make from magazine deals and interviews etc bumps their overall income from the show to a lot higher.

Over the years there have been a number of fee related stories in the press....iirc the base fee for the lowest ranked is normally in the region of 30k....not sure what the highest ever fee is but 300k seems well over the top for a former TOWIE cast member.....I would have thought 50k max for the likes of Sam or Ollie....I suspect the big money this year will have have found it's way into Jim's and Evanders bank accounts.

I think most of them are doing it for the publicity and benefits to their careers, I'm sure Daniella Westbrook said she was offered 6 figures to do it, not bad money that's why it annoys me when the housemates try to take mikes off or run taps, don't take the money and then try and stop the viewers watching or listening ( or like Dappy trying to censor what is aired to make him look good)
