Aww what a shame! :(

Boney M are my favourite disco band.
Together they made such fun and brilliant songs, and have been the soundtrack to many a family party.

RIP Bobby.

Marys Boy Child

Hooray Hooray

Brown Girl In The Ring

Daddy Cool

R.I.P- :( He was so theatrical in their videos , brilliant!!, I love Mary's Boy child and the video was the best, the colours!!, we had black and white in the day, but we stretched our imaginations and our colour guessing was correct.:D

I can't believe Mr Cheese has died, but such a massive band of the time. Boney M songs will live on for ever. RIP.

I was talking to my father about him over Christmas as they were on 100 great Xmas songs or something. Dad said that he thought he mimed many of the Boney M tracks and the voice we hear isn't his. Hearing of his death reminded me to google him and see if this was the case..and it appears it was - according to Wikipedia. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bobby_Farrell

Very odd to be talking about someone who we haven't talked about since the 1970s a day or two before their death.

Loved Boney M songs though - Brown girl in the ring, tralalalala...

Iyes I saw the 100 great Xmas songs and my sister and I were singing along to Rivers of Babylon. Great songs - great era ...

Music of Boney M will be timeless.

    R.i.p Bobby xx

I read in the paper yesterday that Bobby had had heart disease for the past ten years.
