Aww what a shame!

Boney M are my favourite disco band.
Together they made such fun and brilliant songs, and have been the soundtrack to many a family party.

RIP Bobby.

He was so theatrical in their videos , brilliant!!, I love Mary's Boy child and the video was the best, the colours!!, we had black and white in the day, but we stretched our imaginations and our colour guessing was correct.:D

I was talking to my father about him over Christmas as they were on 100 great Xmas songs or something. Dad said that he thought he mimed many of the Boney M tracks and the voice we hear isn't his. Hearing of his death reminded me to google him and see if this was the case..and it appears it was - according to Wikipedia. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bobby_Farrell

Very odd to be talking about someone who we haven't talked about since the 1970s a day or two before their death.
