Yeah I know that, it was an amusing stunt. But I was just saying that all of the other 'characters' that Simon Brodkin's created including Lee Nelson are extremely naff (don't get me started on Dr Bob). The spoofing of the modern day footballer is the only good thing he's done.
I like him. He has a particular eye for the absurdities of modern football.
I like some of the stuff he does he can be funny, as for those slagging him off I bet they a bundle of laughs to socialise with or maybe they are miserable b***tards to be around, that's if they do have any friends in the first place.
He's a comedian who isn't funny not talented so is resorting to high profile pranks to get some attention.
Hopefully he'll piss off or get punched, or ideally both.
Why is being an unfunny comedian something you hope people get punched for? Would it be ok to punch you if you weren't very good at your job or do you practice double standards?
Depends what you mean by comedian. If you mean someone who gets up on stage and tells jokes or funny stories to make a paying crowd laugh, then yes, he's a comedian. If you mean someone that you personally find funny, then he's probably not.
Personally, I've always found him quite funny and enjoyed his stand-up and his character comedy. And I think fair play to him with the pranks he's been pulling, though they do seem to be a new thing with him. he's choosing his targets well, and bringing attention to their failings, corruption or just their simple megalomania. Yes, Mark Thomas and Dennis Pennis were both doing this sort of thing, Mark Thomas in a very targeted, politicised way, Pennis in a shocking and insulting way most of the time as he was off his nut on speed most of the time he was doing his pranks apparenty. I found both of them funny in their time, just as I find this funny now. Those who think him rude for interrupting such things, well, this crime pales into insignificance when you look at what Sepp Blatter's been up to of late. And it gives the people in the press that were interrupted something else to write about other than then the smugness and apparent untouchablility of Blatter.
I loved Dennis Pennis and Paul is also a superb dramatic actor as well.
As for Blatter good on Lee for showing up the corrupt old fart.

I was about to reply then I realised who the poster was so I won't bother. They'll be banned by the end of the week if their recent thread is anything to go by.

But you did reply? I am pretty sure that I haven't broken any of the forum rules.
Why do you hope that an unfunny comedian is assaulted?
I know it's harsh, but there's part of me that really wants him to be sent down - maybe only for a week or so just so they can make an example of him, but I'd just love to see his face when the judge finds him guilty.

Blimey a bloke does a bit of a prank and you want him sent down. Maybe they could free up some space in prisons by letting out some burglars and muggers so some pranksters can be locked up.

Well, on the bright side he could probably write you out a prescription for it

Well done "Lee Nelson", that was actually top stuff, great picture of Sepp with the money in the air.
Everything else you have dine has been a bit crap, to be honest, but that was great.

It just looked natural didn't it!
Probably how the Qatar bid was sealed.
He could have stabbed him like 30 times, and his security was like

Well he's promised to stand down once, but has hinted he might stand for reelection.
Awww, poor Sepp. My heart bleeds for him.
