Lan Messenger

Hi as the title says i am after a decent (free if possible) lan messaging program to work between my laptop and my daughters desktop, they are both running Win 7 something other than running a cmd program if possible.

    Surely any IM program will do the job? Assuming both computers are connected to the internet.

    If you have an internet connection, take a look at Skype. It works perfect for my home network.
    If you don't wanna use internet, you can ask google for these tools, type in "lan messenger" , but usually these messengers have 30 days free trial only, we use Softros LAN messenger in office.
