  Yes very very sad indeed to read about Robin as The Bee Gees were a very big part of Disco back in the 70's, Staying Alive and Night Fever are two of my all time favourites.

  His son was on TV this morning (and what a lovely young man he was!) and said his Dad is back in hospital again but they are all hoping & praying he is soon home again.

  I saw Robin Gibb on the One Show last week - he wasnt there it was recorded with his son. It actually made me cry.

  It was really distressing seeing Robin in such (obvious) pain. Fingers crossed for a recovery, seems like a lovely man.

  Genuinely sad at the news, I love the Bee Gees and have great respect for Robin, always thought he seemed like a good egg. The Gibb family has suffered far too much heartbreak.

  The Bee Gee's talent for songwriting, producing and performing has been prodigious and has influenced music the world over since the 1960's. The quality and production values of their music is plain for all to see and hear, both in the songs they performed themselves and the many songs they wrote for others. The brothers have had some terrible times and now Robin faces the ultimate challenge. Let's hope for a miracle.
