Lovely 117 by Wadey to take set three and lead 2-1. Costly missed doubles by MVG.

I'm a bit worried with Wade's scoring at times, come on.

If Wade loses a break and goes 3-2 down I think it will be over.

Oh what a crippler, Wade has blown it.

It's been a queer sort of match really....the odd spasm of brilliant play but lots of missed darts in and out, MVG forgetting he wasn't away, etc

Wade should never have gone 3-2 down but i'm glad it didn't affect him too much.

    All square again.

I'm amazed Wade lost that set. That's probably a bigger blow than the 5th.

MVG's scoring getting him through here.

Could have won it by now Wade but somehow he's 4-3 down

After that talk of Wade's doubling being great it's what's letting him down now.

He's going to have to go all out now.

MVG with a storming last set to take it.

Definitely the dominant force for years to come.

MVG's fifth major and the first he's won twice, well played he.

Great week for Wadey though what with his 9 darter, beating Taylor and his last leg win over Gando. Hopefully he'll be back in the PL next season and we'll be spared Plodney's weaselly mental issues 'reasoning'

Good to see wade back in form, he beat some top top players in his route to the final. MvG is some player. Mentally his so strong and can always bounce back from bad legs/sets. 3-2 down he looked in trouble and then he comes back big time. Not the first time his done that!!!

Really enjoyed this tournament, the standard was just ridiculous at times, we had two 9 darters and plenty of last leg deciders, would be great to see both Wade and Bunting in the PL next year, would freshen it up nicely!

The way the commentary team have bigged Wadey up this week will make it seem really unfair if he is left out if the PL again. I felt he was missed last season.

He almost took credit for Wade's performances for leaving him out and letting him get back on track.

Wade and Bunting are almost certs for the PL I'd say.

Yep and probably also Barney because of the name/popularity.
Whitlock also hasn't been great lately but he's up there on the OoM.

    I think Peter Wright again.

Barry left him out, because he needed a break, and he did, he has come back stronger this season

lets not forget only the top 4 get in..
so 6 wildcards, but i do agree i think Wade will be back in it

    Wes will miss out..

You say it like he is a contender. Not even close, he wouldnt get in if there were 16 wildcards
