Hurricanes with female names kill more people than ones with male names

Apparently because people subconsciously assume storms with feminine names will be less dangerous, and therefore take fewer precautions.

I guess the next question becomes: Are women with hurricane names more dangerous too? ;-):D

    No disrespect to you OP but this is utter rubbish, and an example of how statistics can be used to come up with any old codswallop.
