Can these be used to buy apps for an Iphone?
If not all the value of a gift card is not used at once is
the remaining balance lost or can it be carried forward for
future use?

    Yes you can buy apps, you don't have to spend the entire balance all in one go, you buy what you want and it is deducted from your account until you run out of money. I've had a few quid sitting in mine for months.
