Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen No Game Manual

So i bought this game it had been on my radar since the full game came out good deal i thought
full game+new and all previous DLC content for a good price
Game arrived today and what do know it only has a game manual that lists the controls
now since the original game is not required to play this i dont understand why a full
manual was not provided??? and to top it all off i cant find one anywhere
just another reason why games companys can go **** themselfs
