Looks like Lacey can only play Stacey in everything she does.

Agree. It's the same EE character in a different show.

She certainly talks and acts exactly like Stacey in this so far...

Does Lacey ever smile? Admittedly I still would, she's the main reason I'm watching :p.

I really don't get the hype over Lacey Turner sure she can act a bit but it's always the same style

Lacey Turner aside, it's pretty good at stereotypes.
Blond bimbo type hairdresser, moaning about benefits, fraudulent disabillity claims and immigrants, anti muslim lol

Still entertaining, though my cynical side sees a hint of propaganda

Oh she can smile, she did in the Witches thing on ITV.
I'm liking this actually, working class girl joins army to get away, I guess.
Happens with working class lads all day all night.

Lacey is not ageing well at all. She's 24 going on 34.

    Still would though.

Looks as if the government is pulling a full strings at the BBC these days. First we have the wave of army documentary's, then the comedy series and then this drama.

This is awful. Lacy Turner is one of the worst actresses on TV. She plays the same piss poor part in everything she's in.

The question is whether or not it reflects reality.

Anybody got an opinion on that?

Isn't this just a rip off of Private Bejamin?

I absolutely love Lacey Turner. She's one of the best young actresses the UK has and Eastenders hasn't been the same since she left..

Think you might need to watch a bit more TV or a film or two

Pretty much the same tropes in every boot camp drama.

I suspect history might disagree with you.
The BBC has been doing Army doc and drama's since forever.

Insofar as a woman joins the army, then yes.
I'm guessing you haven't actually seen Private Benjamin.

Oh god this is such lazy writing.. It`s just officer and a gentleman the other way round for girls.

What`s she gonna do at the end.. carry a man out of a factory
