Hopefully it will pick up again - there was a time when we added boxes 23 and 24 (one being the amount the player won, and I can't remember what the other one was):o:D
Justs shows how many posters have left since the programme changed to 1 hour and became more stupid. I would come back if it reverted to its earlier format.

Ditto. Can't be doing with the industrial length episodes. I'd (almost) rather watch Britain's most exciting gameshow (tipping point) over on ITV
I'm fully expecting Steph to be up this week. He's been there since Christmas, must be coming up to his turn soon.
I can't remember, do they select the players according to how long they've been on the show? I didn't think Jean had been there as long as some of the others.

You say the game has become more stupid? I was in Briatol before Christmas for a few days supporting a friend at the Paintworks studios and had a fab time. On the Monday we got three episodes my friend was one of the four episodes on the Tuesday. Will be shown at Easter. Anyway had a great time, queue for pilgrims seats as popular as ever. Noel as brilliant as ever and they do try and explore the personalities and backgrounds of the contestants and allow them a bit of rope. Unfortunately they can be boring or just love the sound of their own voices. It comes from the bond they build up with fellow contestants staying at the Mercure hotel over a period of 2 weeks. Programmes can't stay the same for ever and I think it's changed fort the better from those dull early shows. It's not just about box opening.

It depends on how long some have off from work. They tend to allow for absence allowances. They also mix the contestants and try not to put too like contestants on in successive shows. The average contestant will do 20 shows before being selected. Some more some less.

Thanks for that. I didn't consider that some of them may only have a limited time off work. Makes sense.
Remind me to be 'absent' from commentary when Giuseppe's game arrives
My thoughts entirely.
There is a difference between being an eccentric, or with a great fun personality....and being plain bloody annoying and tedious. That Guiseppe is the latter.
