I fear my prediction of mid table is looking solid, just one striker has scored a league goal and that was opening day.:mad:

How is Paul Benson doing? He's been scoring goals for fun at Daggers for a few seasons. I think he can make this latest step up. Dagenham snapped him up in the Conference from White Ensign of the Essex Olympian league, which is a massive six divisions below just the Conference, and most clubs just play on roped off pitches on council land, like sunday league teams. (No jokes about Charlton and sunday league team please...). Hope he does well for you guys

As for Benson, time will tell, he made an horrendous decision at Exeter when we had a two on one and he should have put Martin through on goal and failed. That is not being unfamiliar with your team mates or because it's your first game, that is poor a footballing brain. It cost us as much as that ridiculous penalty.
We are going to have to do a lot better than this if we are to mount a promotion challenge. Elliot saves a penalty and a late winner from Joe Anyinsah cover up the failings of a woeful midfield. Parky needs to sort things out immediately if he wants to continue his favoured Semedo/McCormack partnership, like teaching them to pass the ball once in a while. Honestly it was like watching two Kishishev's out there.
