How many multichannel programmes are repeats?

I was wondering if there were any statistics for the amount of repeats compared to the amount of original material on multichannel?

On some channels, it'd definitely be 100% repeat material. As an average of all the channels, I'd say ~70 to 80% myself.

When I did a check across many of the "primary" channels (E4, BBC 3,Sky 1, Discovery etc) last year it worked out about 90% of all non news was repeats (I think it worked out that BBC 3 and 4 were on a par with Sky 1, despite being very poor relations of their older siblings in terms of budget).
I think the best for new, regular content was one of the cooking channels, which managed at least 2 hours every day (as opposed to some where the new content was about 3-4 hours a week).

That was as I say "primary" channels, but not premium (Sports/Movies), nor channels that are pure repeats (UK Gold etc).
