LOL I copied it from Wikipedia and didn't take the album title out....oops
Why does everyone think Ruth doing Shine is a good idea?
Mark Owen - she aint! (Although both are hot ) but still...it will sound really awful. Ruth can only tackle any genre of music with the word 'power' at the beginning of it. This is whimsical pop, yes theres a big note in it - but its quite a dancey number too..and I just dont put the two together. JLS shouldve done Shine IMO
Patience is perfect for Diana!
The other song choices are interesting, Ruth's choice should be interested once we know. Good mixtrue this week, I think Rachel and Alex may be in trouble.
Alexandra - "Relight My Fire" - I expect this to be great. Brian Friedman's gonna have a field day choreographing this. Camp as Christmas.
Diana - "Patience" - I like this song for her.
Eoghan - "Never Forget" - He should do well with it.
Rachel - "Rule The World" - Will make it very gospel. Should do well.
JLS - "Back For Good" - Would've preferred them to do something uptempo.
Louis said she is unlikely to win because she is "Spanish" and that annoyed me, maybe there are other reasons he said but why highlight her nationality? Its part of who she is, I bet she is extremely proud of where she's from (and she should be).
I'd hardly call Summertime a power song and she nailed it
No she didnt, not really. She just 'belted' it like she usually does at the end and thus made it 'power'. I know shes an emotional lady and Ive nothing against her - she is a bit of a one trick pony though.
I am quite annoyed at the Spanish comment, what with Simon saying, bring out your spanish side, blah, blah, as well.
It shouldn't matter whether she is spanish or not. Admittedly it's going to be harder for her because of people voting for people from their area, but I would never have voted for Girlband who comes from my town, because I personally think they crap, lol.
I find the variety of views about the suitability of Alex's songquite interesting. Alex lacks the Xfactor for me (even though she was marginly my fav going into the live final) but I think that she has sung each song well. I can't see her doing badly with any song.
Comments
eoghan singing never forget with a massive choir to disguise his lack of talent.
This is the most rubbish theme week in the history of reality TV, particularly when Take That aren't even really on the show.

Its a pre-recorded appearance btw

Very mean of Louis to say Ruth won't win just because she is Spanish

I just read that too. I'm going to do an extra vote for Ruth now because of that.
I doubt 1 vote will matter; I think Ruth and Rachel are dead certs for the bottom 2 - none of the other 4 have been in the bottom 2...
exactly like last year when it got to this stage and the two acts in the bottom 2 were the ones who had been there before.
