At the end of the day it shows interest, not votes. Tamera was certainly interesting, no one denies that. And Nick has a steady fanbase that could be declining *crosses fingers*
Hopefully regardless of what numbers Luke gets, people vote for him.
Oh no! I am very interested in it! It's the best social media thing we have had on this forum.
It's just slightly annoying that it seems to mean nothing. Tamera had the biggest social media score - according to this - last week, and she was BOTTOM of the votes. BOTTOM. The exact opposite.
It's very interesting, though. So don't stop posting!
Well it can't predict the phone vote, of course, as it cannot see conversion data so we don't know the rules that each contestant follows.
But it does show who has the biggest online fan bases and you can read stuff into it, even if the order doesn't match.
Like last weekend, you could see the change from the week prior indicated a problem.
If you look at Twitter, Luke is very active there. His fans are the right age to be also very active on social media. I feel a rebound vote tonight would put him through at Nicholas' expense perhaps?

More likely at Rough Copy's expense I would guess.
What's this for? The higher number the better or the other way round?
Its a score from a social analytics platform that indicates buzz (or popularity). Bigger score = bigger buzz.
The scores don't necessarily convert to voting though as we can't see conversion and while it covers all major social networks it does not see those away from social networks.
What will be interesting to see post show, is if the actual phone votes cast show SamBa in the lead weekly.
This would then correlate with my own idea that her voters do not have social media as a big part of their lives.
Your stats show that Luke and Nicholas do. Which is correct for the demographic for their fans is much younger and more social media aware.
Most 12-25 year olds are glued to their phones for social media purposes!
I would be inclined to agree. But don't underestimate the post 25 demographic who are also very active with smartphones. There isn't much between those two demo's, it's more the post 35/40 demographic that see's a dip.
I'm thinking RC vs Luke tbh. If one of either Sam or Nic hit the B2... it'll be Nic I think, his popularity looks down and Sam's looks pretty consistent which shows no change in opinion.

After the show I believe he was, without looking back.

Sam B: 69,189
Rough Copy: 97,529
Luke: 102,761
Nic: 568,748
Tamera: 631,689
This week:

Luke Friend: 257,436

Nicholas lost more than Sam.
More likely at Rough Copy's expense I would guess.

Luke: 386,548
Nic: 693,444
Not an immense reaction tonight.
Not in pure % terms.
Last week was way better, I think. This week was dull.

Big dip for RC there, and seemingly for Nic too interestingly but I'm not reading too much into that as they are all down this weekend.

Looking like a LUke and RC bottom 2.
But, I think it will be RC and Sam.

Yeah, actually, you could be right!
I just have a gut feeling Sam is in trouble!
Doubt it to be fair, you said this last week
