Does this mean that C4 now have the Cornetto Trilogy since they're showing this Universal/Edgar Wright/Simon Pegg/Nick Frost movie?
ITV made a mockery of the first two films. And as of recently, C4 now are actually getting Universal films in DD5.1 whereas before they were just Dolby Surround, so that's also a step in the right direction.

I had hoped this was the case when Hot Fuzz had a long absence from ITV, then they showed it again Annoyed me the swear jar scene got removed from Hot Fuzz as well,
Plenty of premieres this time of year. Channel 4 are doing particularly well, probably using up this year's budget in advance.
Horror Channel have The Seasoning House this Saturday (27th) 10.45pm - 00.40am. Plus The Canal on Fri 4th 9pm - 10.55pm and then Grabbers on Sat 5th at 10.55pm - 00.55am.

I would've thought Saturday is a better night for film premieres, which C4 have done recently with Oblivion, Robocop and others. Sunday is clashing with new 9pm dramas. It's also a pain when there's a film you want to see but it's finishing too late.
I know there are other ways to see them, and the films have been around for 2-3 years, but it's just easier.

Kick Ass 2 on Channel 4 the following Saturday from 10pm-12.15 am, also Yes Man has moved to ITV after only one outing on C5, ITV seem to have picked up Run Fatboy Run recently too, was originally on Channel 4. Carrie has disappeared from a potential showing altogether. Also Channel 4 have seemed to fight the urge to air Rush on F1 launch weekend.
