Ronnie's Mental State

I know its only entertainment (although I dont see anything entertaining about this new years storyline, just cruel if you ask me)

But surely Ronnie is unstable?
You can't pass your dead baby off as someone elses and then steal theirs.
If someone in your neighbour hood did this you would think they were metally unstable.

Maybe they will venture down this this path when Ronnie is found out.

i think that ronnie's instability is going to be portrayed from the offset, from what i've read in mags/spoilers etc, which is undoubtedly needed to allow the character any sympathy.

Did I not see in a newspaper that Ronnie and Jean 'bond', after jean
    attempts suicide?

Thats correct, but it's not bonding as such. Ronnie helps Jean who then decides for her own health and safety that she
    sections herself

    Again? What brings this on?

I think Stacey leaving means that Jean 'falls apart'....

When/if Ronnie swapping the baby is discovered...wouldn't she be sent to prison/sectioned??

Just in case people havent read the spoilers
Ronnie has been so consumed by death and grief that when she does find her baby dead she will be unstable. She won't be able to tell the difference between real life and fiction. Hence the swap.

I think the s/l is good up til that point. Then she tries to return Tommy to Kat but is met by Jack and she decides to keep quiet.
Hope EE tell the whole story from Ronnie's side as well as Kat's.
I don't want it to be Ronnie shipped of to a clinic and that be the end of it.

    Maybe the scene
of Ronnie talking to Jean who realises she needs to be sectioned is some sort of irony or foreshadowing to Ronnie's future

Yes, of course otherwise it would too far fetched for her to go completely mental based off one situation. Mentall illness just doesn't happen in a split second.
