Most useless gadget you ever bought

Mine would have to be a USB cup warmer.

A little disc that plugs in to the USB port and is supposed to give enough heat to keep a cuppa nice and hot.

Did it work? Did it ****!

I had a USB heated travel mug that kept the coffee too hot and stewed it. Fortunately the heating element soon broke and the mug is usable as just a mug.

A sex toy that looked like a torch on the outside. Under the bedcovers I couldn't find a way to turn it on to read my nudey mags. Worst present my auntie ever gave me.

Electric lint remover. It kept jamming then broke after about 3 goes.

Used diposable razors do the job much better.

Self-stirring mug. I filled it with hot chicken soup and carried it to my desk, whereupon the bottom of the mug flew off and the soup exploded all over everything within an 8 mile radius.

    A keyfinder.

You're supposed to whistle to trigger the misplaced keyring to beep, which should reveal its location. A friend bought this as I'm known to misplace my keys almost all the time.

Unfortunately it beeped madly every few minutes after being triggered by what seems like every freaking noise. A random voice, door slam, dog's bark, drawer shut, etc. So useless.

Some contraption that supposedly folds shirts really neatly. I don't even fold my shirts, I hang them all. I just have a bit of a problem with impulse buying.

The water never seemed to reach boiling so the tea was weak as dish water. And the palaver with mugs and milk. Also to be honest I need to get up when I wake to let the dog out.
A wee auto dog letter out would be better :D

Steam mop for me as well........it's pretty useless and nowhere near as good as a normal spongy mop

Ha ha, that sounds really useless just from the description, totally redundant even as don't most people hang shirts rater than fold them?

I was thinking of getting a Karcher one but someone else on another thread mentioned the problem they had with the window cleaner bit. My floors are mostly tiled. Worth buying or not ladies?

My most stupid thing to buy was the breadmaker, still unopened in the box.:blush:
