    Just saw this flash up on the BBC RIP Jimmy and thoughts to your friends and family. A legend in radio ( that sadly some did not see when they got rid of him to try and aim at a younger audience) .

    Agree with you, their handovers from Terry to Jim were classic, rather poignant that they have both bowed out in the same year.

    Remember him on Radio Two in the '80s, and liked listening to him, though I was only a teenager then.
