  Yes, but where does hate come into this.
  
  Hate is a very emotive word, misused a lot of the time. Most people don't hate things in reality, they dislike them.

  If someone told me to **** off, that is also a very emotive word and I would assume that they disliked me intensely. Much the same thing as hate in fact!
