I have watched the last few countdowns of the 'most annoying people' narrated by Richard Bacon. I do find it quite a comical reflection on the year. I can not remember who was voted as number one last year (2009) but I do remember that Anges Deyn was number one in 2007. I have a feeling that the number one position will be sports based following England's poor performance at the World Cup i.e Wayne Rooney, John Terry, Fabio Capello or even Sepp Blatter for not giving us the World Cup to host 2018.

I can remember last year Kate Moss was in it and it was accompanied by footage of the GQ men awards where James Nesbitt told a joke before hosting an award about how he had sex with Kate Moss backstage. Kate Moss was then shown backstage during a Lily Allen interview ranting about James Nesbitt. Then it cut to Dizzie Rascal being interviewed about an award he received and Kate Moss came back (obviously thinking that Lily Allen was still there) saw Dizzie Rascal, shit herself and then made up a lame excuse asking him "have you seen my eye liner." Dizzie replied "no I haven't seen your eye liner, I am trying to have an interview about my award," and when she left "he said f**k sake, Kate Moss has lost her eye liner."

I was wondering whether any of you will be watching and if so who do you think will be high up from the list? Have you watched it in previous years and have you found it funny? Is their any particular entrants in the list that were memorable in the previous years?

No I wont. I remember watching this last year and found the 'celebrities' on the show more annoying.

It's the sort of prog I usually record, then watch with heavy use of the fast-forward button, as it'll probably contain some really interesting bits but with a load of padding.

I guess that is what is known as 'counter productive.'

I remember watching this before, they normally repeat it during the small hours of New Year's Eve/New Year's Day and are doing so this year as well so will probably watch it then until I fall asleep.

South Shields on New Year's Eve is like a warzone so I just stay in and watch TV. It's good to have something to watch in the small hours that isn't Nightscreen or News, but otherwise I probably wouldn't watch it.

No, clashes with Charlie Brooker's review of 2010. No chance of me watching this over that.

I'm watching both, Iplayer, Sky+ should be no problem these days.

You're right that the celebrities fronting the programme are usually more annoying than those in the list but that's the humour of it for me.

Ironically, it's usually the talking heads who are annoying. And how many of them aren't even familiar?

One of the few decent programmes that BBC3 do all year. Bacon’s sarcastic v/o is suitably mocking and the lack of ads is positively wonderful. Might be able to catch it tonight but it’s repeated several times which is good of them for a show of this length.

God no, as the talking heads will no doubt be infinitely more annoying than any of the people featured. I hate these type of shows.

Yeah, I love it. To answer the OP, Katie Price got Number One last year. I remember when Amy Winehouse was ranked in 2008 after she changed the lyrics of Save Nelson Mandela to save Blake my fella. I expect Cheryl and Simon to get a high ranking, Mary Bale might get on there and Katie Waissel and Cher could make appearances. I could see John Terry or Wayne Rooney getting Number One

What about Wagner? He should be in the top 10.

Jedward as well, they've done their tv show this year. I really hope Go Compare man is on the list - even though that part of the show will be on mute lol.

I'd be surprised if any two, or even all three of Brown, Cameron and Clegg aren't in the top 20

Katie the Weasel will be high as well.

I wonder if they'll be brave enough to put Cheryl Cole as the most irritating? That Piers Morgan interview alone should secure it for her.

He will be high up with George Osbourne for going back on their "socialist" policies such as tuition fees and forming a coalition government with the tories. Brown may be on it for calling a prospective Labour voter a "bigot" and being caught by microphone still being switched on and it played back to him on an radio interview. Also, Tony Blair maybe on it for releasing his autobiography and generally being quite smug, a bit like Simon Cowell.

She may be on it because of the way she made some of her decisions on X Factor. Firstly, she chose Cher over the other girl, then bottled it on the live episode when it came to her two acts.

Well for me it will be a major surprise if The Bieber is not #1 (or at least top three).

I forgot about him. Also James Caan from Dragon's Den may appear for trying to purchase a child from a third world country on the spot.:mad:
