  I also found it quite funny that David was drenched the millisecond he stepped out of his car. Looked like he'd been out in the rain for hours...

  When I saw the title, the image of Derek and David kissing in the rain came to mind. Hmm.

  It was raining with David, I just don't think it showed up as well onscreen.

  Watching EastEnders last night I couldn't help but notice that some of Michael French's mannerisms were very like John Partridge who plays Christian.
  
  Not that I am complaining; it was nice to see Michael back in EastEnders again!

  I thought this scene was completely unnecessary. Why couldn't it all have been about Pat and everyone saying their goodbyes to her? The exchange between Derek and David could have easily been done in the next episode.
  In fact, Derek's appearances ruined an otherwise excellent episode for me.

  I noticed this and wondered if there was something wrong with my tv at first !!! Made it look very amateurish and instead of concentrating on their dialogue I was distracted by the rain/none rain scenes !!!
