    It sure is, but then Selt did struggle in his first match and came good in the second session - but well who would have thought that scoreline! :o

    Got a feeling we'll see at least a couple of debuts in this year's world championship, wouldn't be surprised if Kurt Maflin and Gary Wilson both qualify

    If Wilson wins he'll be up against Stuart Carrington next, and neither have ever qualified before. :)

    Sam Baird missed the pink for a maximum a few minutes ago. I know they're not the biggest thing in the world any more but that'd still be a milestone for a player of his standing, pity.

    Some tight matches the afternoon, couple of players having come from 6-3 down to trail just 7-6 in their matches. Liang Wenbo and Dominic Dale with good leads right now, expect both to go through to final qualifying round
