Even he couldn't keep me watching! Think his only shirtless scene was in Ep 1 though.

Weak episode tonight. Not enough Dale and too much Ken.

Yes sadly too true. Didn't really need to see the cheesy kiss either.

Dale is a weak version of Cuckoo but he is better than the other characters.

Such a shame they had to change the actress who played the daughter as well.

I thought it was brilliant. I didn't get into the 1st Series fully until 'Ken Does E'.

How odd that it's Ken on drugs again that now has me firmly sold on this series despite the changes.

After three episodes I've decided to give up on this. Greg Davies is still great and Taylor Lautner plays the part well, but it just isn't that funny anymore.

Greg Davies does play being high on drugs quite well

Loved that bath scene! One of the best British gross-out comedy moments outside of The Inbetweeners.

That scene and the accompanying vomiting scenes, had Mr Cat and me (167 years old between us) laughing till we were helpless. We had forgotten how good real belly laughs made us feel.
Yes, I know it was disgusting! Do you think Tyger will ever live it down?

What a shame we didn't get to see anything lol! :D

I think out of his 'nerdy' clothes, that dull Ben would be rather cute as well

I'm amazed that guy is classed as a "hunk". Does nobody else get "young Jimmy Carr" from him?

Doesn't he just?!? I loved his various "high" scenes in this episode and I think his Dexy's party in S1 was the highlight of that series.

I think this is doing pretty well as a series so far. As well as it could do without it's star character. Greg Davies is on top form but enough of the others have brought something to the table so it hasn't lost momentum.

Watching the repeat, I really really really loved the stoned Ken and Lorna's exchange: "I'm really proud of you, too".
"Is it because of the cheese?".

The Prince Charles lines were also pretty hilarious. EDIT: the whole stoned-Ken section after he ate Lorna's stash was just brilliant. Hail Greg Davies!

And also Air being the soundtrack to the dinner party, following on nicely from AlunaGeorge featuring at the puke-party

    Me neither.

The 'new cuckoo' isn't a strong enough character St the moment and the idea of him being Cuckoo's son is ridiculous.
Despite another funny episode tonight (no way could I have predicted that ending!! :D:D), I think your first point is the biggest difference between the two series; Cuckoo himself was a more stronger character and made more of an impact, so far Dale is a bit zany and handsome. That's it.

But he hasn't had his top off yet though lol! :D

I think the whole aspect of Dale being zany is cute in itself. He takes so much pleasure from so little, like when they went to B&Q :D

Tayler being such a cutie just makes it oh so more sweet!!

    That was completely brilliant!

Just loved Dale talking to the old people. Definitely Taylor's best scene so far, it was just vicious! The tissue paper line really...tore me up :D

The entire "it's my book!" book story-line was a bit of a classic, but brilliantly played and utter agony throughout!

    I got the-
    oh no, the Genocide book!

-just before it came, but the last couple of twists were something else. I was giggling uncontrollably constantly for the last 5 minutes, more than I have for anything for some time. I did not anticipate this series getting this good, but I think it may actually be better than the first one-even without Andy Samberg-and definitely in terms of writing-than the first.

    Yes he did, first episode!

    And it's"B AND Q" ;-)

But I agree that I think he's doing a great job. It's a slightly different character but still with the "fish out of water" aspect and even more naivety. It's different enough for him to make it work without trying to live up to Samberg but similar enough to maintain continuity for the show's central idea/theme. But they have really made the most of the parents as a double act this series. It's starting to feel like a classic English class comedy-of-manners within a mutant 2.4 Children/Outnumbered context, with an added Greg Davies irreverent twist, equal parts Basil and Rik. Helen Baxendale has had more to do and has a great dynamic with Greg. I love the show now :)

They need to give Helen more to do, she's got funny bones. The zany son in law is like something from the 1970's. Should have left it alone as one series, it was great, it's bollocks now.
